Virtual Site Survey Information Entry Form

ss

SystemSupportSolutions recommends (and the majority of manufacturers require) that a Site Survey (link design project) be completed for each fixed wireless link.

As a convenience and to save travel cost for non-local sites, we now offer a "Virtual Site Survey" project alternative using the form below . All information is required, including good quality visuals and distance measurements.

You will receive the same "Site Survey and Installation Considerations" report document that is developed from an on-site visit by us.

Step 1: Request a manual for the specific link being deployed by clicking here. It will provide you with information you need to select your mount locations, and give you a good idea of what the mount hardware looks like, etc.

Step 2: Print out this form and obtain all data including visuals and an accurate link distance measurement.

Step 3: Return to this form, fill in all required information and click "Submit".

Step 4: Email or mail the visuals as instructed below.

Step 5: You will receive your "Site Survey and Installation Considerations" report document normally within 24 hours. Please review the document carefully, including specified tasks for you to complete locally prior to link deployment, and then communicate any questions and/or agreement with the plan.

Visuals

Important! Don't skip this step. It is the most important.

The acquisition of good visuals is critical to completion of a valid "Virtual Site Survey".

This list of required visuals must be obtained by you, properly labeled, proposed equipment locations identified, and forwarded to us:

Please click here to download an MS Word document to use as a template for your visuals submission, and email to us at Peter@SystemSupportSolutions.com

Important note: please paste the visuals into the MS Word document with a description of each, and use the "arrow tool" on the "drawing tools toolbar" to insert arrows (as depicted in the samples below) to show precise proposed mount locations, etc.

Please don't skip any of the pictures. For easy reference while you are taking the pictures, here is the list of shots required:

  1. Street view of Site A
  2. Site A rooftop line-of-sight view looking at Site B
  3. Site A Transceiver position viewed from street level
  4. Site A rooftop view of mount location
  5. Site A rooftop penetration location
  6. Street view of Site B
  7. Site B Transceiver position viewed from street level
  8. Site B rooftop line-of-sight view looking at Site A
  9. Site B rooftop view of mount location
  10. Site B rooftop penetration location

Site survey images. Replace with your pictures, reposition arrows, replace text with your descriptions.
